any tips
We use the same sauce for pork and poultry and it's a vinegar base. We use cider vinegar, hot sauce (frank's), and red pepper flakes. I'd have to check with my brother about exact measurements. It's an old family recipe. No big secret, I just don't remember the ratio's.more for poultry
Yea. Only there's no water, sugar, or ketchup. Just hot sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flake.
Let me call my bro tomorrow and get some specs and I'll throw it up in here.@Edisto_Tiger gimme something I tried that one I posted and it's awful!
What type of sauce are you looking for? Because BBQ sauces really vary. I like mid/southwest tomato/sugar based recipes that everyone else is too good for personally.
Back in Alabama, people make "white BBQ sauce". It's mayo based. I don't particularly care for it myself, but my wife makes it from time to time for herself.
So it may not be so much the recipe, but the style.
