There you go, I knew my memory was fading. Do you think they really made the difference?
McNabb had his best season with T.O. and made it to there only SB appearance in the McNabb/Reid era.

I want to be clear, I don't think this was a bad or bonehead decision by Schneider at all --- Harvin has or had world class speed and could score from any point on the field -- but I think it should be recognized that the risk in the move was the combination of draft picks and cap space that the Seahawks had to give up to get him, particularly given his injury history and his history of clashing with otherwise nice people like Leslie Frazier.
I understand there was risk involved with Percy, but no greater than drafting a bust with the 25th pick, and the upside is already a confirmed Pro Bowler type receiver.
I guess we could track DeAndre Hopkins or Cordarrelle Patterson to see how they do this season.
btw, what injury history do you speak of? and also, what cap space issue do the Hawks have this season with Harvin?
Yes, he could come back at the end of the season and lead them to a division win and a SB appearance. But I would be really interested to know from Seahawk fans ---how far do the Seahawks have to go in the playoffs and over what period of time before you say the trade was worth it.
For example --- if they go to the SB, but lose and next year with the cap and everything they lose Rice and Browner and just win the division, is that worth it?
Well, he has a history of migraines, he was out with an ankle injury last year.
I didn't say they had an issue this year.
Here is a link, his cap hits start to take effect next year

How cute , the other negative nancy has spoken up. From what I heard Rice is A OK. Just getting a procedure done, that many athletes have had done to help rebuild cartilage. He will be fine come the regular season. As for Harvin lets not jump to conclusions. We all have plenty of time to see how it pans out and regradless the Seahawks will be in the playoffs IMO.
No, I said it on the day of the trade.
Im the guy that says a trade/signing is bad while everyone else says its good, and im the one that ends up right.
Its a pleasure to meet you
All Seahawks players will be judged by cost versus value. Same for the 49ers. Harvins injury is a blow but lets not keep harping on it like it's the end. Seahawks front office has shown themselves to good at managing the cap and I'm confident that the Seahawks will be fine for years to come. They'll have make some hard decisions as will the 49ers..same for any NFL team really.
I see that 49ers fans are enjoying the Karma thing and predicting dire consequents...we'll see how it plays out.
Sorry i'm not jumping up for joy when the player we dumped our first round draft pick for is made of glass and the other guy isnt much better. I hope it all works out in the end but,,,,,,
I agree, but the trade made the cap decisions harder, not easier. I still understand why they made the trade, but it was risky given everything and the price was steep.
This low brow thread made it 4 pages? Amazing.
