I guess they must have broadcast a different game in Wisconsin. Feel free to post video of all the wide open passes Hornibrook missed that he would have made in his sleep in other games.

Fact is -- Wisconsin didn't have a prayer of moving the ball. I said you wouldn't be able to run against UM and you couldn't (28 carries for 70 yards) I tip my cap to Wisconsin's defense -- it is legit. The offense is far from it. I said prior to the game, Hornibrook takes way too long to throw the ball and lacks arm strength. Against lesser defenses, like Georgia State and I believe, Tulsa -- he can get away with that. In the B1G -- he has completed 50% of his passes with more interceptions than TD's. He makes Wilton Speight look like a heisman candidate.

That being said -- I did get a chuckle at the OSU needle you threw in. If Michigan weren't ranked #1 in total defense, #1 in scoring defense and #1 in pass defense (by a landslide) -- it may have hurt. If it makes you feel better -- Hornibrook threw for 2.5 times more yards (88) than Rutgers had in total offense against UM (34 yards), so you have that going for you.

And the whole -- you played so bad and only lost by a score -- I can't argue that. UM dominated every aspect of the game against Wisconsin but one -- field goals. We moved up and down the field at will, then Wisconsin would lock down in the red zone, UM would miss a field goal, rinse and repeat, and repeat, and repeat. Oh yeah -- it also helps to tip a pass and intercept it in the red zone too. Enjoy the moral victory of the 1 score loss. Deep down though, you know Wisconsin never had a shot, unless their defense scored for them, because the offense wasn't going anywhere.

22, 53, 76, 94, 99,124. Rankings of passing offenses Michigan has faced. Congrats on the best defense EVAR

The difference between the two seasons was negligible. He's just bitching to bitch.

2014 Bama D gave up 18.4 points per game, by far the worst since 2007. They also gave up over a 100 rushing yards per game. Funny how in Bama's 4 championship years they gave up less than 80 on the ground every year, and in the 3 non-championship years during that stretch they gave up over a 100.

Imagine what it could be if UM wasn't missing their All-American CB and the their best DE for 3 full games.

You know that Wisconsin team who put up 450 yards on OSU's defense? They went for 159 yards against UM.

By far? :nono:

They gave up 16.6 ppg before the OSU game, which was just 2 ppg more than the 2015 Tide before they faced MSU/Clemson (14.4; which went to 15.1 after the playoffs). As I said, negligible.

Also, 2014 Bama hadn't allowed a single 100-yard rusher and were actually only giving up 88 ypg before Zeke came and had his way with them.

You're using stats AFTER the OSU game when we destroyed your defense, not before us like you should be, as in what this conversation is about.

Bama's defense is stacked every year. As Bama fans love to say -- we have 5 star recruits backing up 5 star recruits. Once they realize an elite offense is going to move the ball, even on the best defenses -- Bino will be able to stop with the excuses and just admit, OSU was the better team that day. It is the same reason why Ole Miss threw all over Bama this year and Why Clemson put up 550 yards last year.

Not to mention the same Arkansas team that barely got into the 20s against La Tech put up 30 points and nearly 500 yards on this year's Bama team.

The excuses after 2014 were certainly plentiful from Bama nation, Bino is no different. They simply lost to the better team that year. Our offense was better than their defense, particularly our running game. They had an elite run defense but it was simply no match.

As of right now only one thing matters when comparing tOSU and MI. 1789 days since MI beat tOSU.

If it were the same players and same coaches, etc. I'd agree wholeheartedly. It would be like me saying UM is going to completely shut down Wisconsin's offense next year, when the entire starting lineup will be gone.

That being said -- there is no doubt OSU has been the better team for quite some time. And as a whole right now, OSU is the much deeper team. If UM can stay healthy defensively, it is going to be a tremendous game this year. I still think it will take at least 2 more years of Harbaugh's own recruits to really see what he can do at UM, but it should make the OSU/UM a lot of fun to watch for years to come.

I just wish we had this defense once Harbaugh had one of his own QB's running the offense. I just don't have a lot of faith in Speight unless he improves by leaps and bounds by the end of the year. The defense -- we've played Penn State, Wisconsin and Rutgers. Combined for those 3 games -- 389 yards of offense, 17 points and only 21 first downs allowed. They just need to stay healthy.
