that they are saying Livings knee injury is more severe, than it has been led to believe. Anyone know if there is truth to this?

Jerry supposedly said it in a round about way yesterday. I think he has had two knee surgeries in the past.

He will be gone next season either way he is gone next season, don't think we will cut him this year though, but I have seen crazier things happen.

Pretty good chunk of change to Livings and Bernadeau hasn't worked out

After watching Nate Livings start 68 games for the Cincinnati Bengals.... I can tell you there is much more wrong with Nate Livings than his knee.... but.... I do hope he gets healthy.

Didn't understand the logic behind it, could have used that money to get Gathers I believe last year, imagine a line of Smith Gathers Frederick Leary Free nice right? Oh well

Honestly I cannot remember any serious Cowboy fan that supported those two signings.

most likely right but then again, he could play extremely well and then who really could say with such certainty? Thankfully a players game still factors.

Everybody hits and misses on players, but our organization does it a little too much. Especially for an organization that is hellbent on returning to glory.

I liked the Livings signing and he really didn't play all that badly last year

This is why I wondered why the experts kept saying that Leary was overtaking Livings for his spot. I thought well why not just switch sides.

One piece can make a huge difference on a line. That line with maybe Clabo mixed in this year. Not back to the early 90's OL, but with the weapons on this team, it wouldn't have to be

I always thought coming in this year Leary & Livings would hold the guard spots

If I remember right you did support it along with the idea Callahan would get better production out of him. If I remember wrong, it won't be the first time.

Livings played well last year.

Played well compared to others on our line, yes. When compared to other line I'd just have to say he wasn't too bad. That said if he play as well as he did this last year I'd be more than OK with him as one of the guards. Frederick can make both guards jobs easier. If Frederick pans out us OL bashers will lose that part of our excuses.

to be honest I just really hope we get improved play somehow on the OL

The line still has a long way to go but at least they are FINALLY admitting it

Livings was like an open garage door for the Bengals in 2011.

I remember uninformed and optimistic Cowboys fans asking about him and telling them all the prepare to be disappointed.

Both Cincinnati and Dallas lost in their attempts to upgrade at guard (Living's replacement Travelle Wharton was signed for 3 years - $9,775,000 to upgrade from Nate and was injured before ever playing a regular season snap).

Actually while some of us are not completely enamored with Livings, me included I do think he was an upgrade over the previous season.
