These are two completely, unrelated actors…

These are Jim Rash and JP Manoux. They are known doppelgängers (along with Moby) who have actually worked together capitalizing on their similarity. Manoux was on an episode of Community, playing a guy who was impersonating Dean Pelton.

I just learned the guy playing the neighbor's husband, Derek (Ted McKinley), is Jefferson D'Arcy from Married with Children and was also Roger Phillips on Happy Days.

He also played the main frat boy in Revenge of the Nerds

it is getting deep this season, but it really is. The comedy is top notch but it really hits you in the feels. The characters are fantastic.
