How about the boxing match between Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago? Talk about an event that united two world powers!

I already submitted my topic.

There is only ONE issue that should be covered when it comes to cassettes...Did you use a pencil or a pen to wind the "tape" back inside of it when the damn player would eat it??? :suds: Some youngin's out there probably have no idea of the struggles we went through with those damn things...

For twenty bucks you could buy a seperate machine just to rewind the damn things.

The TWO VCR setup to tape a tape you rented. (Paying no mind to the FBI disclaimer. Lol)

The VCP, for people who didn't want to commit ticky tack felonies.

Kids missed out on a lot of fun.

I had a two VCR setup also...The local mom and pop video store would put aside the best new movies released for me every weekend.

I remember going in on Mondays as a kid and giving the clerk $5 to put my name at the top of the waiting list for Tuesday's new releases.

Same thing for cardboard cut outs and posters.

Dolph Lundgren life size cutout was my best get.

That think had a supporting role in a lot of homemade movies.

Aside from Rocky most all of his movies are awful. (The cutout was from Assassin or Assassins or something like that.)

But he's pretty much the smartest actor of Alltime.

You've heard the story about the filming of Masters of The Universe, right? Sly Stallone happened to visit the set during filming. He saw Dolph as the main star and acting, Sly turns to the director and says something like "You gave that guy lines?" :pound:

hard to hear but here you go:

As a kid, by buddy Bryan couldn't watch He-Man.

Because there's only ONE Master of the Universe. (His mom let us watch Over the Top though.)
