I'm paraphrasing, but I believe he won't start hating you unless you pick up Ott or Ratboy.

I don't know how he can hate the Wings. Trying to emulate the Wings and hating them are two different things. :p

not really making a mockery out of it when its allowed. they are using it. thats all. they will change it most likely next CBA but if its allowed how is it mocking?

I look at it the same way as teams being allowed to pay guys NHL salaries while they play in the AHL, yet the contract doesn't count against the cap. Hopefully the new CBA will have some big changes in terms of what teams are allowed to do contract wise.

Sorry, but I don't believe an owner should be able to have a hockey team at the cap floor yet have an actual payroll that's well below it. That's making a mockery of the salary cap.

Considering how much they got for Gill, they should sell any spare parts. The market won't be much better for a selling team than it is now.

I doubt it. The Wings are still unsure what Brad Stuart and possibly Lidstrom are going to do this offseason.
