Parity is truly starting to show, you just can't tell from seeds 1-8 who will be hot (team or goaltender) coming into the final 16 wins.

I really think this is the parity the NHL wanted, it just took this long to kick-in.

Weren't the Kings only two points away from being a 3rd seed?!? Couple this with the fact they underachieved for most of the year and you have a team finally realizing their potential. I think they are now 17-3-3 in their last 23 games.

It's really very easy. One team tries to hit that little black, frozen thingy in the other teams net with a stick, and the other team tries to stop them from putting the frozen thingy in their net and vise versa.

The basic concept is easy enough, but then the "why wasn't that icing?" questions start coming for deflections, could-have-played, penalty kills, etc.

Reminds me of one time I was at a baseball game, and whoever was behind me had friends visiting from Germany with them. He spent the entire game trying to explain the rules, and they were absolutely lost. The foul balls being strikes but not being able to strike out from them seemed to really confuse them.
