Yellow-bellied water snake.

"water moccasin"

That's my impression of almost everyone around here. If it is a snake, is dark colored or doesn't rattle, it is a water moccasin. I hate snakes and leave em alone. We have an agreement, they don't fuck with me and I don't fuck with them. :burt:

My favorites are the hog-nosed snakes. When you come up on 'em they play dead like a possum.

oh yeah, if you get them to roll back over and strike, they will strike with their mouth closed. Basically popping you with their nose. They never open and bite. Maybe I should say rarely open and bite.

man, grab a book on local reptiles/snakes and read up. There are only a handful to worry about and it get's interesting trying to identify some of them.
Like milk snakes and color variants of rat snakes, water snakes, pine snakes, etc.

I didn't say I call all of them water moccasins. I can tell the difference. Doesn't mean I go chasing after them. I see them, assure my wife it "can't kill you" and leave it alone.

My wife is now not going to sleep tonight though. Had that picture up on the end of the second page while watching the mavs. She came in and said "I just killed a spider in the bedroom...oh my god what are you looking at?" Between the spider in the bedroom and the snake, yeah, she will be wide eyed and reading whenever I do go in there. haha

Liberal. Can't you see the rainbow colors?

fag fish. Don't eat thataone...might have the AIDs.

My dad used to get all happy when we'd catch sunfish up on the lil' lake up north. Now that shit would be too small for bait!

Those crappies are decent size though. I catch red snappers that size under the dock for me lunch. It's a hassle to filet em all though.

Was a hard day at work, I think I only have one round in me. I'll give it the ol' college try, but no promises.
