I just don't understand how we let a team like this dominate in the shot count. If the Pens worked to their best, we'd certainly have the lead in that category. Already let up 13 or something close to that.

Man, it's so weird, because I was watching the highlights of our Cup run in 08 and subsequent victory in 09, and he was a big part of it. ESPECIALLY in 08. Maybe it's because of the Hossa connection in 08, but he was playing top line minutes and was very effective. Done nothing since though...just been a shadow of that player. As my previous post says, he's incredibly predictable. Breaks down the left wing, pulls up around the faceoff dot or farther back and takes a slap shot. I know it, he knows it, the goalie knows it.

I mean, I guess it should be expected...how many teams would be in our position if they went through the same situation? Not a lot...but still, knowing the thought of what could've been SUCKS out loud. I guess we should just be happy to be back in the postseason. *sigh* Just gotta cheer and hope for the best.
