Baylor wont be top 10 if you beat them again. But the point is the same. You feel great today knowing a win gives you a good shot to get in. You feel that way, in part, because Oregon has 2 losses. The loss they couldve avoided is Auburn

If they schedule Wofford instead of Auburn and have the L to Arizona state I am 90% Oklahoma is in with a win today. 70% for Baylor if they win.

Utah was ahead to generate conversation and viewers. If both Utah had won and Oklahoma, Oklahoma would’ve very likely jumped Utah unless Utah absolutely dominated and Oklahoma won a close game. Just because Utah was ahead of OU and Baylor doesn’t mean they were going to stay there. That’s what you seem to be basing your whole argument around.

yeah but the blowout by Oregon would have helped their cause even with the weak resume. If Baylor were to win or Okie wins a very close game they could have slipped into the #4...it’s possible. But as of right now it’s Okie or Baylor winner hoping Georgia loses, which imo they will

Read the thread moron. I already posted that the ESPN app fucked me.

Funny that you are calling someone else a moron, when you are the one who posted incorrect statements in the thread.

Well then fuck face do your research before posting!!!!

I attempted to, you senile old fuck. The ESPN app did not show them as ranked on Oregon’s schedule. Jesus Christ go change your catheter. You must be developing a UTI.

No you fucked yourself by not doing your research before posting. Just admit it and move on.

What part of the app didn’t show USC as ranked on Oregon’s schedule don’t you understand?

Also people always bring up 2016 OSU as the example of "hey this team got in because they won a big ooc game" example BUT that ONE example in 6 years took an extraordinary set of circumstances. The B12 AND the B10 champs had multiple losses. Its the only year in the playoff era where 2 P5 leagues had multiple loss champs. In other words OSU had to beat OU then get lucky and the very next year the Buckeyes missed the playoff because they lost ooc to OU. Its just not worth scheduling these games for these programs

And pass up on getting money :2cents:. I think we missing the point on why teams schedule these.
Also it's a resume booster as others stated

The UO athletic department has an obligation to purchase and resell 6,520 tickets and will earn a payout of $3.5 million for the game.

However, Auburn will rake in $3.5 million from television revenue for its season opener this weekend in a neutral-site trip to Dallas against Oregon.

If Oregon schedules a middling P5 instead of Auburn theyd be in imo unless OU wins by 3 TDs today. Recency bias is very real

Not really. Oklahoma would have better wins and more ranked wins. All three away from home.
