I made my 5 year old little girl wear a life jacket the whole time in the river. Help put my mind at ease.

State law here is kids under 12 have to wear a vest at all times when on a unanchored boat.

My daughter hated that. Wife doesn't swim so she wears one whenever on the water.

I saw those this weekend. She swim well in the pool. Just worried with the current and flow of the river.

You would be surprised how strong that current is in the channel. And one step and boom you go from 2-3 feet to channel.

Two Rivers state park. In the Platte. It so crazy the water level from day to day. And a different of 5 to 10 feet how much it drops.

I saw some kids up on the Missouri where I keep my camper diving off of the docks wearing life jackets. Will probably have them for my grand kids when they come up to stay with us.

Thanks doing pretty good. Worse is healing from the surgery. Don't know what all they did to me but I think they herniated a disc in my back. And my sternum, they bust the shit out of that. It's been 3 months and I still get some unbelievable stabbing pains. I can predict changes in weather now.

P.S. It's weird, I'll get in the van for work and catch myself reaching in my pocket for a cigarette.
Busted most the other habits but that one is strong.
