There are three teams I have always enjoyed watching lose.
Alabama, Notre Dame, and Texas.
Alabama because they refused to play Nebraska and forced Nebraska to play in the Fiesta Bowl back in the 1970s. Their cheerleaders put up a sign, Happy Fiesta Nebraska. This was before the Fiesta Bowl paid out big money.
Notre Dame, only because Joe THEEESMAN changed his name to rhyme with HEISMAN. I enjoyed watching him play, but that just told me that it wasn't about football.
Texas, after the way Texas took over the Big 12, via the administration of it, and controlling all the votes, and how dirty Texas is in the back rooms, I really enjoy watching them lose. Even better, they deny the whole thing. Texas flat out lied to the Big 12 TWICE, in 2010 and again in 2011 at the conference meetings. Plus, they have some very trollish Texas fans who I REALLY enjoyed hammering in 2010.

Without reading a single post in this thread before plorsting, I will give you my too sense.
I am going to route for Michigan and it is a complete no-brainer.
We are 1 week into the season and if I am going to start hoping for things to happen at this point in order for Nebraska to back their way into a better bowl game, well that is jest plain dumb.
If Nebraska makes a BCS bowl game, they need to earn it. That means they need to beat a top-tier Michigan team in Ann Arbor. That is all there is to it.
If and when we lose that game, then I'll start shitting in one hand and wishing in another.

(10-2)(11-1) isn't backing their way into anything. They would be more attractive as an At Large than a (10-3) Michigan.
Florida got into the BCS over Georgia last season even though they lost to them and didn't play in their CCG.
There are many other examples of this.

I'll be rooting for Michigan. I always root for Nebraska opponents to go undefeated until they play us. In fact I still root for them after they play us because it'll make us look better if they continue to win. I'd rather we just flat out win our division and beat Michigan than back our way into a CCG or BCS bowl etc.
