I'd like to see more of a 50-50 split for Kendall and Gore. Hunter looks pretty good out there and very fast. Plus, this will preserve Gore's explosiveness for the long-haul this season. Yes, Gore is the better blocker but Hunter is no slouch.

It seems like that was our intial plan last year and it worked. We will be doing the same thing this year with these two. I noticed yesterday we are following that same approach with Justin Smith and Ray Mac. Glenn Dorsey's acquisation could pay huge dividends us, obviously not in terms of stats (his presense will allow us to keep our ends fresh each game).

yesterday gore played 66 snaps to Hunter's 11. I hope this doesn't continue and we are just working Hunter back into the mix slowly.

more than fine with Hunter but not so sure the GOAL should be 50/50? IMO about 66/33 seems more like it?

Me too. At this point Hunter is a better back. The difference in speed is striking.

no doubt Hunter has more speed, but like the way Gore runs inside. Gore does well weaving his way thru the line.

again, fine with Hunter even if ran inside, but Gore can still do it and you lean to him.

i'd like to see 66/33 come playoff time so that Gore is fresh and ready to roll. In the meantime, Hunter is more than capable of taking on half the load.

it isn't about Hunter able to take half the reps, have no doubt he can. the question is who is the better overall back? Gore isn't the young stud but still like the way he runs inside, like the way he protects.

if Hunter is now the better back, then fine letting him be the main RB? if that is the case, run Hunter the 66% of the time?

I would like to see 60-40 with gore getting 60. Everyone knows Gore starts slow. Also u can depend on gore. His blocking is one of the best for a RB in the league.

Ya, 50-50 doesn't seem to work to well. It seems to throw the timing and the blocking off a bit.

People have been saying Gore is old at the beginning of each of the last THREE seasons. I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't like the idea of taking Gore off the field because he's a beast as a pass blocker. I like him on the field for 3rd downs this year because Kap doesn't seem to want to check down like Smith did. He wants to move around and let someone come open downfield.

I'd much rather have Gore picking up blitzers than Hunter at this point.
