I didn't hear anything out of line. They're a very bad team. Could end up being historically bad. Nothing wrong with pointing that out.
I had no problem the first inning but he went in again the next inning. He came across very condescending and then we almost got beat. And I thought how our team was thought of last year even now so yeah guess my opinion

Managers don't get a say in who is called up, and honestly a 7 run lead is when you put Allard in, to avoid wasting a competent arm. But Allard shouldn't be back on a MLB mound this season.
I am not so sure Woodward has zero say but in the olden days yes I agree and of course I think JD brought up Profar and Wash decided to sit him. I doubt Wash wanted him called up

i'd rather hear about how awful the A's are than how people had to go to Minyard's to redeem giveaway tickets in the 80's.
As a kid I did not mind the bat pounding

I can agree completely that is when you would use him and I agree also that he should not be back on a MLB mound. But when a guy comes in and gives up a single and a HR and then hits a batter that is it. And as bad as he has been I would have someone warming up at the same time he was so that when he does that he is pulled. He is just so hittable.

I mean, they're the opponent. I'm not supposed to like them. Tom did go pretty hard on them, pointing out they're so bad they could end up being worse than the teams that Tom played on. But I prefer that to talking favorably about the opponent, which happens a lot these days.

usually the teams we are playing are either already better than us or are at least playing better at the time

Has Duran even been playing very much in the outfield. Every time I see something on him he’s playing short or third.
He has played 6 games in CF, 5 at SS and 2 at 3B for Round Rock.

Although I'm not here all that much, I still 'semi' keep up via the box scores, an occasional watch, the Ticket, etc. Anyway, the other day the Ticket sorta touched on the number of poor decisions we've made under JD's guidance. And then there was an article - I'm assuming in retrospect it was from E Grant at the News - and he listed how poorly we've drafted and cultivated our minor league players.

My question is, since Chris Young is now on board, do any of ya think JD's days are numbered?

I don't think so. I think JD is here as long as these owners are here.

What was the criteria for a decision being ranked as "poor?" And how do the Rangers compare to all other MLB teams when it comes to the % of their decisions being "poor?"

Probably not but I would have to agree for the most part of your high level summary of the article. I feel JD is alive and well here because of his early days. I would much rather have A.J. Preller here and JD in San Diego.
