Just for some thoughts, PFF ranked him 23rd among all OL, not OG but all OL this year and 3 spots behind DeCastro.

last offseason they had one of the best OL in the league and were coming off a playoff game they should have won with McCarron starting. This year they are picking top 10 and their C and RT are abysmal. I'd say a ton has changed.

He's not being re-signed here.... They offered him the deal they wanted to give him. He'll get big dollars on the open market. He's gone. The Bengals do their best when they sign early.... Otherwise, they use the tag and they definitely won't use the tag on a guard.

Keep in mind that both DeCastro and Kyle Long signed deals early..... They might have left some total dollars on the table, in exchange for injury protection. They signed 10 million dollar deals with nobody else even able to pursue them. Zeitler could get much more than 10 mil per year on the open market.

I've been saying this on r/Bengals for like 2 months. Get downvoted everytime. Some people can't accept reality.
