The comments are worse than the actual article. And, if i was a recruit and read this article it would be pretty hard for me to chose to play for UVA after hearing the way some of the players are talking about "the people you call fans".

I for one have no idea how a recruit in Virginia can choose to there, over a team that is such a complete opposite, in Virginia Tech.

That's not true, I can think of a couple of reasons:

1. Lifelong fan....
2. You are a o-lineman (though this is slipping for them)

I use the term "rival" only in the historical sense, of course. Wisconsin fans care much more about Ohio State and now Michigan State (for obvious reasons), or even Iowa.
