Yeah after seeing and hearing about him up close I have zero sympathy for Eric Bieniemy. He is an arrogant A-hole who sucked at his job, we do in fact now know why he failed every one of his head coaching interviews as posted here months ago.

Obviously at the end of the day the Chiefs are still winning Super Bowls so it’s not a huge factor at the moment but how much of their current offensive struggles have to do with him no longer being their OC?

Like the guy clearly has issues and isn’t head coach material but it’s also no secret that Kansas City‘s offense and Mahomes haven’t been the same since he left for Washington when he did.

I think the Chiefs continued close football games are indicators, even with the modern day greatness of Mahomes and Andy. KC looks fragile due to the players playing, as in not good enough. Injuries remain a factor for all teams and far and away a contributor to the mantra for week to week league.

Garbers struggled the first 4-5 games but really came on strong for the UCLA Bruins. I credit EB with that.

Pat Mahomes is successful because of Andy Reid... Andy Reid is the offensive mastermind behind Mahomes and is IMO the greatest offensive coach of all time (the GOAT offensive coach). EB basically had to do nothing except just sit there and let Reid go to work.

And Pat Mahomes is nowhere near the GOAT QB at the moment.

The Mahomes/Kelce connection is still a pretty big deal. The last play of the game against the Chargers Kelce did improv to get open after Mahomes scrambled. I think those two keep Nagy's and Reids job fairly easy sometimes.
