if you lose to #1, #2, and #3, you might still be a top 5 team.

LSU already beat Wisconsin. If they beat wind up 9-3 with wins over Florida and Ole Miss and lose close games to Auburn, Alabama, and aTm, then yeah... I think they could still be considered one of the 10 best teams.

I suspect A&M's defense is going to be too shoddy to make a season long run. The offense looks fantastic, but something's gonna go wrong on the other side of the ball.

They're all clearly pretty good, but none of them seem really complete as of yet either IMO.

I really don't know why you are laughing. If Florida goes 9-2 this year and their only losses are razor thin margins against undefeated Alabama and undefeated Florida State and end up 1 and 2, what makes you think that Florida wouldn't be worthy of a top 5 ranking?

A team with 2 losses in a top 5 spot, must be a big let down year for lots of teams then.

Thats why i said claim.

I dont bet on anything, but its my contention this year with the playoffs that teams will be coached differently in crunch time of games and coaches who dont normally go for it will and it may pay off or not. I dont see as many two loss teams as in past years in top 5 spots.
