How Many 5 Loss Teams Will Be In The FINAL AP POLL?

Every damned one of these teams will be in the top 25 at the end of the year...regardless of losses. Someone has to occupy those spots....unless we cut it down to just top 10 or 15.

Wonder what the inverse looks like, seems like there are a lot of unbeaten and 1 loss teams going in to rivalry week, as well as a scarcity of 2 loss teams.

Just looking at last year, there were 8 1 loss or better teams in week 12, which is comparable to the 10 we have this year, but there were 9 two loss teams compared to 4 this year.

With what is remaining on the schedule, setting a record for ranked mediocrity seems assured.
