Pretty sure you're committing a logical fallacy by using Kneel's actions to compare to Thornton's and if Quoi was still around he'd let you know about it.

Kneel's action was during the course of play - Thornton's was after the whistle - ie not a hockey play so to speak.

If you ask me, it doesn't add up at all. We seem to be divided on this. It doesn't however subtract from your other good qualities as a poster. I think the amount of games will multiply.

This is the equation for all basis of all shanaban suspensions. Per rumors Jeremy Roenick came up with this theory for Shanaban.

a = x [true for some a's and x's]
a+a = a+x [add a to both sides]
2a = a+x [a+a = 2a]

Agree the longer it takes the more likely that they are planning on making this a major news announcement. Making a example out of Thornton. I am now suspecting 20+ games.
