How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

 no comp pick if you cut a guy

I think its the fact that he wasn't on the roster to start the season.

thats why he was cut the first time... 2nd time might be because he sucks.

Good thing Wentz has a running game to carry him.

Defense played great as well. That turnover right before the half was huge. They never looked back after that.

They forced a fumble earlier but didn’t recover it. If they had it would have been even more lopsided.

Jimmy G > Wentz
Without looking at any stats whatsoever I think they are p much relative and I’d give the slight edge to Wentz.

I didn't see any of the game but looks like a big bounce back win for Philly. This probably gets them back in the top 10 in @knowyourenemy power rankings. I saw it was another game under 200 yards passing for Wentz which has been the case for 4 out of his last 5 games this year. Philly is 3-1 when he throws for under 200 yards passing. Maybe his role is more bus driver and maybe Philly is better off not asking him to do too much.

With the cowboys on a bye it looks like another quiet week from the Wentz fanboys this coming week.

It's a decent trolling effort. I'd give it a C-.

No QB would have had a 70% completed pass percentage in 20-40 mph winds at Buffalo.

And this was against the vaunted Buffalo defense.
That percentage was the highest they have surrendered this season.
Sure, you'll rattle off that it was against such QB stalwarts as Eli Manning, Sam Darnold, whoever was playing for Miami that week, but it does include one Tom Brady, who they held to 46% completion percentage.

I mean, I could troll right back and claim that Dallas has yet to beat a team with a winning record, but I don't think that's needed here...

Am I missing something? So you disagree that Wentz has throw for less than 200 yards in 4 out of the last 5 games and that Philly is 3-1 in those games (and of course 1-3 when he does throw for over 200 yards)? Or you don't think it was a big bounceback win?

Yes, Dallas hasn't beaten a winning team and lucky to be in a shit division. GB and NO are both 6-1 so not much to be upset about losing those games, but the Jet game was inexcusable for a team that wants to make the playoffs even though they were without both OTs and had their 3 good WRs out or hurting. You still need to find a way to beat the Jets with a QB on his first game back from Mono. No excuses

It was probably Wentz' best game of the year, outside of the Washington game, given the opposition and conditions. It still wasn't a great performance though. But nobody has played well against Buffalo this season. If I had to guess Wentz did better against Buffalo than any QB they've played this year.

He threw for what the defenses gave him.
He threw for the yards they needed to win the game.
They wouldn't have been able to run for all those yards if teams weren't respecting his ability to throw the ball.

Didn't your QB throw for the most yards (463?) in a loss?
Is that what you really want?
Your QB to just throw for more yards than anyone else, regardless of whether they win or lose?

If so, then you are missing something.

I'm not sure what you are saying. I agree with all of those things 100%. Did I even in the slightest way infer he had a bad game or even not a good game? I think the Eagles seem to do their best this year when Wentz isn't asked to carry the load and throw all game long and so far their record shows it. Winning is all that matters. Not sure why that offends you.

What offends me is your astonishing lack of reality.

Every fan of every team would want their team to rush for over 200 yards in a game.
Would you happen to know what the record is for teams that rush for over 200 yards in a game?

You're not telling us anything we do not already know.

Again. You seem to not read what I write or struggle to understand it. I totally agree with all of that. Please show where I said otherwise. That is exactly what I'm saying Philly should be trying to do as it is what seems to work for them this year. It seems as if you are 100% in agreement with my point, yet you are arguing :noidea:
