I agree he's overrated.. And has been pretty piss poor the past few years. Ausmus sucks as well and that hire is on DD again..

You do realize that if the Tigers let Dombrowski go....he'd have a new GM job in less than 30 days time. He has some tarnish on his reputation now...but I am positive that a dozen or more teams would overlook that tarnish to gamble on his knowledge and past success. I am not cheer-leading for DD....just being realistic. In fact, if the Tigers decided that a different GM were needed to retool the club, I'd be all for the change.

If DD is gone, Al Avila will be GM.

I'm cool with DD getting a new deal and staying.

How bad do we suck?

When is the trade deadline? Should be pretty soon. Cueto to the Royals and crickets from Detroit.....So we probably suck pretty bad.....We should be sellers in this market, lets see what DD does.....He's not used to selling.....He's used to buying.

Tigers fans, question for today is: What do you do with Norris and Boyd if they get shelled in their next outings? It is a good time to get them some MLB experience. They could be the best options. Letting them go out and get shelled multiple times, could impact their development. I, of course, am pulling for them to continue to pitch well and learn, but just a "what if".

Your informed opinions please gentlemen.

What if they go out and throw 5 no hitters in a row? Seriously.. what do you want to accomplish with this? Why would they get shelled? Toronto has one of the worst defensive clubs and a hitters park... not out of the question for both Boyd and Norris to end the year strong with a larger ball park and better defense behind them. Tigers dont have anyone else to put in the rotation.. why would you even ask this... its a pointless question that literally makes me wonder your intentions by even posting it.

They aren't owned by the Fords, so they have that going for them.

Sad thing is, I think the Tigers had to shell out $5 mill to buy out his option year. Oh well, just a drop in the bucket for ol' Mr. I.
