He was the only bright spot on some less than stellar teams which featured a lack of offensive weapons, poor coaching and poor defenses. Had he a better supporting cast, he would be in the same category as Brady.

I guess what burns Browns fans is , and if you think about it, statistically speaking, Andy Dalton is perhaps the greatest Pro Quarterback in Ohio history. Never really considered this, but it is mind boggling! Can anyone name an NFL quarterback for the Bengals or Browns that has better stats than Andy Dalton? If he isn't the greatest at least top 2 or 3

We were Definitely better than the Browns during this time, and Andy was better than any QB the Browns had during this time or ever!

You're bragging about being better than the Browns? :laugh3: Nothing like setting the bar as low as possible.

Hey did you know the Browns just bitch slapped the Bengals up & down the field on MNF? Was your Halloween happy? Mine was after that ass kicking. And skyline chili is dogfood.

Well this is proof you truly are delusional and not just some over the top homer.

Dalton the greatest pro QB in Ohio history? Stop it.

HOFer Len Dawson was from Ohio. Look up what Otto Graham did as a pro. According to nfl-.com he's one of the 20 greatest QB's of all time. Only way Dalton gets into the HOF is if he buys a ticket.

Didn't say born in Ohio, or played college in Ohio...........................but I do not think there is another QB to have played professionally for the Bengals or Browns that has been better than Rocket statistically?

You made fun of Andy's passing yardage, and touted Otto Graham, yet Andy has more yardage passing and more TD passes in an Ohio uni than Otto Graham! I'm smelling a Homer! You just compared Andy to one of the greatest, top 20 Qb's of all time and Andy surpasses his stats in many categories. If you look at this from an outside perspective, and not that of a Homer, I think you would have to agree with me wamu.
I'm out until Monday, we'll continue this exciting discussion!

Well Otto Graham's in the HOF and is the only QB to win an NFL title his first year in the league and won multiple championships. He played his entire career for the Browns. Hell Bernie Kosar won playoff games. But not Andy.

Other than never winning a playoff game what has Dalton done?

I agree, Graham played in another era, which was weak compared to today's standard. Other than that an NFL title in a lesser era, what did Graham do that can ever compare to Dalton? We finally agree Wamu!

Graham's in the HOF and is considered by the NFL one of the 20 greatest players of all time.

You asked what did Graham do that ever compared to Dalton? What a dumb question. Well he was a multiple time NFL champion. Dalton hasn't even won a playoff game.
