Man, Houston's schedule is much easier after this series. They get Seattle without Hernandez or Iwakuma, then Arizona.

Interesting to see which Rangers perform these last vs se before the post season. Have to think nerves have come into play with some of the young guys. I would rather see Cheech start then relieve in high pressure situations. Thinking both he and Freeman don't make post season roster. Guess we will see how it plays out. Hope Dutch finds his pitches before post season

If we were willing to let Gimenez catch the last 2/3 innings, then why didn't we pinch hit for Wilson in the 6th with men on 1st and 3rd? Then Gim could have caught the last 3/4 innings.

Maybe would have made little to no difference. But Wilson's hitting is poor at best.

The odds were with Houston to win eventually against us. I wanted to win at least 1 game in this series which we have done and even if we were to lost tomorrow we still are up 3 in the loss column. What we have done in the last few weeks has been amazing and we will be home to finish the season. My only concern is Holland. He has been given a 4-0 and 4-1 lead against Houston and lost them both.

Well......my question has less to do with who could or couldn't catch vs why didn't we PH for Wilson?

But I too thought Chirinos was available.
