When Rev said Rua might hit 20 I said he might lead the team if he hit that many. I never pretended that that was definitely going to be the case and that is why I clarified it right away. It was a possibility that anyone who hit 20 had a chance to lead the club in my estimation because I didn't expect anyone to get over 22 or 23. After Rev responded to what I said about Rua I told him the upper limit of the range I was expecting. I didn't back off of anything. I simply clarified what I expected from the team. It turns out that what he was expecting wasn't all that different than what I was expecting. I thought up to 23 would lead the team and he thought 25 would.

Of course it wasn't a heated debate? I said I enjoyed the discussion and that I still do.

You are making the term less than 20 equal to 24 and hinting that I might be obtuse. Go figure. You also said I was not the only one saying the HR total would be on the low side of the discussion and I certainly was as is evidenced by the posts that we can both look at. You said things that indicated we were talking about two separate debates and yet you want to call me obtuse for thinking we must be. You framed the debate in 2 ways that was simply not the case. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and thinking I must be talking about a different discussion altogether. I won't make that mistake any more. I am thinking now that you simply mis-remembered and will not admit to doing so even when the posts are right in front of your eyes.

I am through with this conversation. It isn't going anywhere even with all of the facts in print before us both.

Praise Jesus

That was idiotic for Rasmus to even throw it.

Hahaha!!! Nice throw you crater-faced dipshit!

Maybe your daddy can complain for you about how the groundskeepers prepared the field or maybe how baseballs are made.

I have McHugh on one of my fantasy teams in the championship matchup and this performance might cost me $200, and I could not care less. This is awesome!

Odor needs to lay off that high pitch.

Kind of funny to ask Gallo to just make contact. That is not in his thinking. He just wants to crush it.

Gallo has GOT to learn not to swing for the fences every single time. Some situations call for simple contact.

Horrible AB. As TAG just said, those awful swing and misses were on 91 MPH fastballs dead center in the zone. Any average major leaguer would crush those.

Exactly, the ones he swung and misses were well within the strike zone but he's so determined on bombing those things that he's missing it. He's got much to learn still but hopefully he'll work on that a bunch in the off season.
