Uh, I have zero faith in dice-k. If he can't even stay on Cleveland's 40 man I don't think he has a place on ours.

On my flight planning nav computer ... OKC to DFW = 152NM ... AUS to DFW = 165NM ... plus its a 20mile drive from Round Rock south to AUS.

RR is north of AUS, so subtract that 20 miles and you have the answer. I did road distance, not as the crow flies. The differnce roadwise is something like 184 mi from RR to RBIA, and 212 from OKC. Splitting hairs when discussing distance in Texas

Have even less interest in Bedard. I'm not saying not to offer him a minor league deal, but if I had to choose someone to make a major league impact with our team it would be Haren over Dice-K

You never know though. He's put together very good starts recently
