I noticed that in Profar's 10 games that he has 2 doubles, triples and HRs and some loud outs. His SLG % is .630 and OPS is 1.013. That leads the Rangers in both categories in his small sample size. But that is better than being called up and bombing out.

The smart thing to do is rotate rest for the vets. But smartly. Throw in a spot start or two from the minors for our starters as well. That's the smart way when you have a lead.
We haven't seen the last of Griffin. He'll get a start or two in soon.

It has been a while since I have seen anything like what we are seeing with the Rangers right now. It is like each guy who has been plugged into service has done a really good job. Think about AJ as darryl mentioned above an even Ramos. Who would have thought that. And Wilson and Holaday. And then Desmond learning to play LF and now taking over CF. Rua in LF and now Maz in RF and Profar along with Bush. This just does not happen very often.

Well here's to hoping Profar looks less awkward at 1B than he did in LF

I've already noticed he seems to come off the bag too quick, almost like an IFer turning a double play

hopefully he will still do better than Marwin did for them last night

lets not start swinging at every 1st pitch again

Fun time to watch and be a fan of the Texas Rangers right now! I know we've been here for the rough years, so we all deserve to enjoy this

What kind of pitch was that. Pitch to Marwin was not a good one either. Like the hard low stuff.
