No More "Bullpen Failure"
I also asked Evan about Holland's diagnosis and if they had gotten a MRI to confirm it. He said he would try to find out tomorrow about that.
So this likely sounds ridiculous, but since Texas is likely gonna be bad the next couple of years...I would seriously consider offering the Angels Choo for Hamilton.

I don't want to be burdened with Choo until that contract runs out. If Texas is gonna suck why not pay Hamilton to suck for 3 years vs Choo for longer? That does, in fact, sound ridiculous.
Fuck giving them any money. They want Hamilton gone that badly they can do it straight up. Not like they are broke.I've seen LSB mention it a few times... Choo for Hamilton+30 million.
I agree. They are so desperate to get rid of him there is no telling what they would do to sweeten the deal.I don't want to be burdened with Choo until that contract runs out. If Texas is gonna suck why not pay Hamilton to suck for 3 years vs Choo for longer?
Yes....Spelling names like Caleb or Cole with Ks is ridiculous.

Is that the way it's spelled on his birth certificate? If so, there isn't a damn thing WRONG with spelling it this way for the rest of his life. Fact, exactly what he should do.
Why do you bog on such superficial crap anyway?
Holy shit...I would do that now!You misread the deal. "Choo" for "Hamilton & 30 million".
Meaning the Rangers get 30 million back.
Now that I might think about. Maybe what the Angels are doing to him now would light a spark under him in a revenge sort of way.You misread the deal. "Choo" for "Hamilton & 30 million".

Sure, if the Angels were willing to take on Choo's contract straight up for Hamilton's contract, financially that makes a lot of sense. For the Rangers.
I guess the question becomes, would Moreno prefer Choo and his additional $60m in salary over just simply cutting bait on Hamilton?
I gotta think the way Moreno has been carrying on that they might.
