Yes we beat a really bad Washington team but despite what the scores and stats say this was a terrible offensive performance and the blame goes squarely on Matt Nagy and Mitchell Trubisky.

Matt Nagy - I don't understand what this guy is thinking. He just doesn't like to run the ball. The entire first qtr, we barely ran. And when we did run it was with Cohen not Montgomery. Montgomery was largely absent for 3 quarters and clearly he's the best option we have at RB. Montgomery should get 20 carries a game. 1st and goal at the 1, run?? No Nagy passes. Not to mention every single passing play was underneath. When you throw that many times underneath, defenses will move closer to the line making it really tough to run.

Mitchell Trubisky - Horrible performance again. Remains incredibly inaccurate and I believe this will never change. This is Trubisky, forever inaccurate. Anything more than a 15 yard pass, i laugh when the ball is in the air because i know it won't come close to the target. Trubisky simply cannot throw vertically. I would like to give credit to Nagy and think all the passes are underneath because Trubisky can't throw vertically but i doubt Nagy is that clued in.

I do not trust either Nagy or Trubisky.

We need a new QB, Trubisky is not it. Frankly it's not even close. I am envious of guys like Daniel Jones who comes in and show so much promise.

See, even you can be right once in a while.

That fade to Robinson was a steaming turd.
Yet the bomb to Gabriel was a hell of a throw on the move no less. Mitch is an enigma, which in the NFL isn't a good thing.

In his presser, Mitch said he predetermined the throw(INT) and that it was a miscommunication, in that he was trying to throw a back-shoulder and ARob was expecting a jump ball fade.

Mitch played his best game of the season, but that isn't saying a whole lot, considering that Washington is abysmal.

Offensive penalties have hurt this team so far. Our average starting field position has been awful...I'd bet around the 15 yard line. Way too many 1st and 20's and the likes. That is a sure-fire way to make your QB and offense a whole look very pedestrian.

It’s nice to see you repeat what I have been saying since week 1.

Nothing I've seen out of this team makes me a believer that we can run 3-4 straight vs. the league's best, possibly multiple of those on the road. BUT...2 years ago me would take this in a heartbeat and I'm just gonna enjoy the ride for what it is similar to last year. Just not expecting what I did in preseason anymore.

Hell, you could trot Virginia McCaskey out there at QB, and the Defense would still keep em' in most games.

I think the Bears will keep warming up and get on a roll.

I bet Trubisky couldn't make that throw 9/10 times. Total luck.
