Hopes (realistic) for this year

So, setting aside the hope we all have that all our pessimism is totally misplaced and that they will turn into the '27 Yankees and score 900 runs and win the World Series, what are you looking for this year?

- I hope we win 81+ games (really not likely IMO)
- I hope Bumgarner pitches like Randy Johnson...so we can move him for a great haul
- I hope D Rod proves he's a legit 3-4 starter type
- I hope Cueto is able to pitch a little late this year
- I hope Longoria, Melancon, and Samardjiza put up good numbers, so we can move those contracts
- I hope Duggar is a legit MLer
- I hope we see Bart in September and he looks decent
- I hope Posey can still hit a little (maybe the least likely of these)

Probably a couple more in there.

I would rather we win 70-75. Contending for 81 outs us in crap draft position and makes it more unlikely we make big sales. However, winning only 70-75 means our big names likely become untradeable...

I am hoping for more than just a 3/4 from DRod, but I think your call is more realistic.

I would rather Cueto relax and come on full force in ‘20.

I don’t need to see Bart this year. But seeing him pre-September next year would be nice.

I have no expectations for Posey. Maybe after Longo gets traded...

I am hoping that young guys on this team get more than 4 to 10 games to prove themselves. Oh wait, you said realistic goals . . . sorry.
