Finally, you got it right on Garcon's salary and cap.
We did not draft Doctson as a replacement for anybody this season. He is a replacement for at least one of our two FAs next season. That doesn't mean you cut Garçon this season. The 8 million you save, what are we going to do with it? What is the point of cutting Garçon? Are you actually suggesting they drafted Doctson to get rid of PG or DJ this season?
I didn't say anything. Your words were we have seen KC best. His best was the last half of the season. His best was top five. Those are your words because words have meaning. Even if we went by the whole season, KC was number ten 10 passing yards, 1 in completion percentage, 8 YPA, tied for 12 in TDs, 5 in rating, and 15 in TD/INT ratio.
Who ever said cut Pierre Garcon? My position is and has been to capitalize on his trade value now, next year he has no trade value and we get nothing in return. Two years ago I said the same thing about A. Morris, the team kept him one season too long and lost him to FA. (Total return....Zip)
You are correct, I did indeed say that we have seen KC's best, ( note the use of the present perfect tense have Seen) as I intended it...once You are correct again when you state that words have meaning.[/QUOTE]
I just thought you understood we can't trade PG because nobody will want his contract. I said the same you did about AMMO. We will either let PG walk next season or resign him to a dramatically lower contract. If he walks, we will get a compensatory pick for him.
"Have seen" does not mean he cannot duplicate it. I think you will actually see an even better statistical season from KC next season as long as DJ and JR stay healthy.
