As well as Andrus has done this year I am surprised they don't let him lead off. He handles the bat well and is willing to take pitches.

I'm about 90% certain he'll give up 4 tonight, and most likely won't go 6. But if the velocity is there, and he can get some swings and misses, then I'll call it a decent return.

I'm a little concerned about bringing back a pitcher off the 60 day DL and throwing him right into a game where he has to swing the bat. Especially an injury prone guy like Holland who has been in the AL his whole career.

Tolleson was moved to the 60 day DL and, as expected, the team waved Hamilton, but he's open to signing a minor league deal.

Awe, I was getting ready to find my glove. The last year there I believe Hamilton hit .260. I looked that up yesterday and mentioned it and if my memory serves that is what I found. Of course my memory doesn't serve as well as it used to at times.
