When I see who’s been getting in, Tom Chambers should’ve been in awhile ago…
Nah.
Not a snub at all.
He was a good player.
But if the HOF took every player who made 3 or 4 all star games, it would water things down way too much.
Does not have a HOF resume.
Hall of Very Good players get into the HOF.Yep...if they ever make a Hall of Very Good...Chambers can be inducted into that.

Chauncey Bilups is in the HOF. He was a good but unspectacular player. I know he had rings, but so does every player on those teams.
Michael Cooper just got in.
In your mind, Billups, Michael Cooper, Paul Westphal, Vlade Divac and MoNo, they don't. Only the elite get into the HoF...Tom Chambers was very good...he was not elite.
its debatable that if Billups was the best player on those teams. The defining characteristic of that Pistons champion team was there was no big time star. That makes a huge difference though.
Billups was the best player on a championship team. He has coached and been on TV as a basketball analyst.
All huge resume items that boost his appeal.
The championship being the biggest one.
Not really comparable resumes.
