I am. So are the Redskins. They went BPA with every pick (except maybe the last one) according to their Board, not Mayock's or McShays or Kiper. How else can you explain the choice of Murphy? Clearly they thought he was the BPA because they weren't drafting for need with that pick.

And before you say it, I know, you think that's crazy. But thats only because you rely on the talking heads to give you your info, just like Van Noy could be an ILB. In reality, what happens is one of them makes this claim and the rest just parrot it. Most likely, no one on an NFL team ever believed Van Noy could be an ILB.

Richardson has a medical problem that is why he went undrafted. Van Noy is versatile b/c he can play all four LB positions in the 3-4.

We don't need Van Noy to play all 4 LB positions. Our OLBs need to be able to provide pressure, something Murphy does far better than Van Noy.

he played those positions in college j-y 19 . i posted it . who is it from i dont know but there is tape of him there doing it

again i think we did very well with murphy after initial disdain of the pick . he has great height , big hands and a high character /motor and i wont get upset with it

we got moses to boot and long should compete as a starter maybe by 2015 .

if nothing else we got more depth and next years draft is intact with a full compliment of players

Fair enough, dad. I'll still maintain, although you think its a cop out, that offering grades on a draft that is less than 24 hours old is an exercise in futility. I have no idea, and I''d wager that no one on this board does, if Murphy or any other pick bombs, becomes all pro, or is just mediocre. What I will say is that Allen had a draft board and he stuck to it. For that, I give the FO high marks. They had a plan and they executed to that plan. Was it the right plan? Who knows, but I like the discipline and forethought.
