So because Lee and Carter's injury history is the same we should retain Murray also. I disagree. You mentioned Claiborne, Ware, and Hatchers injuries as well none of those guess routinely miss significant. time. Next to the QB the RB is going to touch the ball more than any other player on the field. That guy has to have durability.

Touching the ball doesn't necessarily make him more important and I didn't say don't sign them because of injuries. I said why sign them, but not Murray? I didn't mention Ware, but he is out right now and wasn't DWare the last half of last year because of injury. Claiborne is hurting now and was last year too. Why the different set of rules for Murray?

Twist I don't disagree with you there my friend, but Again it's not the coaching staff taking him out of the game. Murray has not shown in the NFL or in College that he can handle playing a full schedule. To this point he has been just like Austin Great when he's on the field, but poor health keeps him from playing. I just don't trust the guy. He's NFL fragile. It's not personal he's Glass Joe.

No what Im saying is do you watch the way the defenses line up against our offense when he isnt on the field.

If he doesn't play watch....... You will see I'm right.
Only time defenses respect our running game is when he is on the field
Dunbar is out... He's the only other one. (and he has fumble issues)

If Murray doesn't play The game is soley on Romo beating pass defense.
Tanner aint the answer and Randell aint Murray.

problem may be some of us are talking about winning football games while it appears some others are talking future salary cap issues. No question Murray is a player and his desire to excel is a plus. I sure am glad to have him

Ware and Claiborne have played through injury and its not a differnt set of rules, but I think timing matters. Lee has been injured but Jerry saw fit to pay him. He can't nor should he pay every injury prone player. Wouldn't you agree Dez and Lee have way more value then Murray. You can gamble on 1 or 2 guys not 4 or 5 IMO. Based on the timing he'd be the 5th wheel and he's never shown the ability to play through his injuries like the other guys have. I'm not sure......Has Ware ever missed a game?

Well I tend to try to look at the big picture.
This is the best O-line we have had since Murray has been here.
He can play ... but listening to what I've heard all week they MAY hold him out because they feel he is more important in the second half of the season and they want him 100% healthy for that ....

AND I AGREE WITH THAT 500% Especially with the late bye we finally got.

We have had total shit for an O-line since Murray got here.

One thing I don't understand though..... Sooo many were taking up for Felix ... I called him utter shit straight out the draft. pure speed with no other skills. ... He couldnt stay healthy ...
Now we have a guy with every skill you want in a Rb.... ( that has never played behind a 13-3 O-line)
and he's being tossed under a bus... and this MAY or MAY NOT be the first game he has missed this season

I agree with you there P-day. I will say this if Murray can give us 12 games this season I will try and reserve my comments on his health. I picked 12 because I fill he has to play 3/4's of the games this season for us to win this division.

I have never talked Felix Jones up period. I don't see how it's blasphemy to be upset about expecting your best players to be on the field. I'm not wishing injury on this guy. For whatever reason he hasn't proven the ability to stay healthy that's a fact. What's the point in saving him for later if you lose he division in Nov. not saying that's the case, but it is certainly possible. I'm not anti Murray at all. I'm not a fan of injury prone players though. We all at time have unpopular opinions. I guess this is one of my many.

Ok honest question.

Do you think Emmitt could have stayed healthy behind the lines Murray has run behind?

Not to mention ... No Moose either...

I absolutely do. his greatest attribute was his durability IMHO. Not to mention Emmitt played in a way more physical league than Murray does. So yes w/o question.

This will only be true if he misses 1/2 of 2013. Warevhas played in every game from when he first became a Cowboy

2009 Was never on IR and was on the sideline

missed half the season ... Let me change that .... didn't get on the field for us half the season

Your chart shows he didn't start 1 game. That 1 game was the 1st game of his rookie season. He played in that game and started every game since.
