Here's a little fun fact for you guise:

SEC is holding down #4-9 in the BCS, with only 2 of those teams (BAMA vs UGA) remaining to play each other...all its gonna take is 2 of the top 2 teams to lose a game (which is VERY possible). I dont see oregon slipping up and losing a game, however, i dont see ND or KSU winning out either. If one of those 2 lose, they woould fall back to around 5 or 6...and guess what...we have the overrated SEC in the BCSNCG once again...and if Oregon drops a game, my money would be on SECCG winner vs Florida...then the Butthurt would be EPIC!!

The pac 12 has 8 teams at .500 or better while the SEC has 10 teams at .500 or better what its to expose.. Seems pretty even to me.. Well except that the sec has 7 teams @ winning 8+ games or more while the pac 12 only has 3.

Use some logic. We play one more conf game thereby guaranteeing half the conf with an additional loss. If we took the SEC route of scheduling we would have four in state guaranteed wins.

Are you suggesting that to date the Pac-whatever has played more conference games than the SEC?

It is what it is.. there is no logic there, it is the way it is.. we the fans do not control the scheduling. All 5 major conferences pac, big 12, big 10, acc & sec are pretty even across the board with having at least 8 teams @.500 or better the major difference is the sec has 7 teams with 8 or more wins.

No the fans don't but waiting until everyone else in conference play to play your OOC games is ridiculous. The SEC needs to fix that and schedule OOC games at the start of the year and let the fans have more OU-Bama type games instead of SEC vs FCS losers.

what difference does it make when we play our conference games?. whether at the beginning or the end. The games still have to be won on the field..whether in conference or out.. We always play FSU the last game if the season.

Because it cheapens the schedule to play FCS teams (yeah I know OU played one this year but it was due last minute scheduling because of conference realignment.). Why play UGA-SCar as the first game when the teams are just starting out instead of UGA-OU (they have never played btw).

I always felt the big OOC games were played early so that a losing team could still recover in time for a decent bowl. A late season OOC loss by an SEC team would kill them in the rankings and drastically drop bowl bids

It doesn't cheapen anything..games still have to be played and won. Regardless of when they are played.

It does too cheapen things. Those schools have no chance of winning and I for one would not pay to watch such a game, it's like high schools playing junior high schools. I remember the days before the BCS when OU scheduled SEC, Big 10, PAC 8, ACC and major independents, now we get C-USA, MAC, WAC and other watered down teams that aren't worth anything but a entry in win column. It cheapens the whole argument of the BCS too.

Discounting the hilarious OOC scheduling the SEC is notorious for

We'll see how the SEC stacks up to their in-state rivals next weekend; I bet the ACC takes 2 of 3
