Percy Harvin posted on Twitter for fans to keep an eye on week 7 for his return. I don't know if it's going to be possible or not, but the thought of having him back before the first half of the season ends is a fun thought to have.

Just as long as the Niners don't have to see him return kickoffs.

That would be awesome! I had him peg for his return against the Vikings. Let's just hope he doesn't rush back too soon.

That's the only potential downside to this. I love his desire to come back roughly a month earlier than most expect him to (first week of December is what people keep talking about as the target date for his return), I love that he's putting in the work to get back that quickly and I love the idea of having him in this offense for half a season as opposed to a quarter of it. As long as he rehabs the right way and doesn't try to overdo it in an attempt to get back early, I am very excited about the possibilities here.

Looking at the schedule.. the real meat of it is from November 10th to December 15th, which is week 10 thru week 15 (with a bye in week 12) and includes the following games: @Atlanta, home for Minnesota, home for New Orleans, then @San Francisco and @NYG. That's one home game against the Adrian Petersons, one potentially tough home game against New Orleans (assuming their defense isn't absolutely awful again this year) and three tough road games. Getting him back and into football form three weeks before that Atlanta game would be fantastic. That isn't to say that I'm overlooking the three games from weeks 7-9, but it's not the potential meat-grinder that weeks 10-15 figure to be.

Love the optimism, but no way. If we see him at all this 2013, it will be Dec or playoffs.

Agreed! I would rather see him at 90 to 100% healthy by week 10 then 70% ready by week 7 and struggle throughout the rest of the year.

Weeks 7-9 are typically migraine time for Harvin. :)

Actually, having followed him since Florida... I will believe he is back when he plays.

Harvin is productive not only as a returner, but ALSO as an offensive player. He averaged about 85 yards per game from scrimmage last year and could average EVEN MORE per game with Russell Wilson as his QB, who is better than Christian Ponder.
