The word has always been that Giles is a poor student. However with that said, there has never been a real concern that he wouldn't qualify at Duke or any other school he chose.

Giles is transferring from Oak Hill to a school in Kernersville (which is right outside of Winston-Salem) that no one in the Triad has even heard of.
