Put the moron on Ignore. He's likely a missing inpatient of Atascadero.
But he's educating and entertaining me.

Even if he can't do one, and only does the other because he's doing the first wrong.

I think.

Some learn slower than others. Don't sell yourself short; you'll get there. Gotta get over the fan boy nonsense though, then it will be easier for you

O.K. Montalban. You've had your fun. Move along with this line of thought.

Personally, I have had difficulty justifying paying a guy who has had a horrible June in the field. I have watched Harper miss easy fly balls consistently and some ground balls to have me scratching my head. However. Harper has brought some bats to our offense at the right time this season. Is that worth 330 large? Probably not, but in a market economy, if he can get some dumbass rich white dude to cough-up that kind of scratch for his services, than all the power to him.

Lamest troll ever, though I guess he's getting the job done if this thread is 5+ pages.
This thread has some actual on-topic discussion going on here. Only about half of it is that dumbass @Montalban not understanding what "mediocre" actually means or calling anyone who dates counter his half-cooked opinions with actual facts a fan boy.

Stop the fan boy nonsense; its creepy in an adult. Hero worship is for kids.

Update....Bruce is hitting .405 with RISP and .156 with nobody on.
I wonder if he checks Twitter at the plate if there aren't any runners for him...
I think this would be a historic split if he keeps it up, but there is still half a season for things to shift around. Also worth noting he only has 92 PAs with RISP....seems low at this point for a 3 hitter on what was expected to be a powerful offense, but I notice Yelich has even fewer.

Are those stats with the Phillies? Where do you find splits with Phils. Overall he's .200 RISP, .253 none on from ESPN.

These are just Harper's 2019 splits from baseball-reference.com . For his career, BBRef has him at .287 with RISP, .257 with none on, and .302 with runners on....he hits very well with a runner on first only, as do many lefties with the resulting bigger hole on the right side.
I don't use ESPN for stats, don't.like their site.

My post was all wrong. No idea what happened. Your figures agree with ESPNs.

I like the Bruce signing. Overall he has been a great addition to the Phillies but he sucked big time against the Muts with Realmuto in scoring position. Struck-out and we lost. I guess these things happen from time-to-time.

My bad on the typo.
