I've only been to two games there, but I was struck by how much nicer the crowd seemed to be than most places I've been. Granted, I was in Sens gear, so that may have factored in. But one game was Bruins and there were some B's fans there and there was no harshness. The other game was against the Avs. No animosity AT ALL. Actually, not much in the way of energy...

And the first year here in Columbus, I went to the Sens game in Sens gear and even though the Sens didn't show up and got schooled, I got no flack from the Jackets fans and two guys shook my hand and said "good game".

I know this is unusual, but one of the ways I knew I moved to the right place. And if I didn't wind up here, I'd be in Ottawa. The job just happened here first.

Ya know most 99.9 % of hockey fans are just fans and if you wear in a other teams jersey you are gonna get some ribbing

99.9 % is in good descent fun but when the booze gets flowing and the local team loses it is easy to look at that same guy and be a tool.

I have been to about 20 games between the Bruins and Montreal in my life. I dare anyone to say that any 2 teams hate each other more including the fan bases. We give it to them hardcore having Habs jerseys on. They give it back if they get a goal.

In the end generally speaking you see the same folks at the pubs across the street and have some beers and move on.

I guess I should be surprised by Shanahan's inconsistency, but by now I'm not. I just wish it went in the Sens favour even ONCE.

I hate to be a tinfoil hat guy but when Ottawa plays the Habs or the Leafs they get screwed in 95% of the games. Now Shanahan is piling on. It's unacceptable that neither, or both, of Bourque or Gallagher even gets a hearing while Gryba gets 2 games for what every expert calls a clean hit.

The NHL is hardly a step up from the WWE at this point.

How Bourque didn't at the very least get a phone call with Shanny really surprises me. At the very least...Maybe he didn't want to go in early on a Monday?

Hopefully the game tomorrow does not get as stupid as it did yesterday. I know I may be in the minority here but I want to watch hockey - not foolishness like that. Whether the Habs are winning or losing - starting the fights or not; I get bored by that stupidity.

Nope, head wasn't targetted, no suspension or fine necessary...

PRRREACH IT BROTHA! I said something similar in the Pens/Isles thread...and that was just over one fight. Fighting in the postseason is just silly. I'm really bored with it in general. The game is too beautiful to break up with that crap.

On Bourque, that's just inexcusable. You call guys/suspend guys to make sure it doesn't happen again. So we're basically welcoming back more of that.

And mannnnn, forgot about the Backstrom thing. That was just over a year ago! How in the WORLD? I was okay with the Gryba thing because I saw it as a precedent to keep the postseason clean, but clearly he's got the same wheel going.

Does anyone know if the NFL replacement officials are still available?

This has been one heck of a series. I hope the fun stuff continues tonight!!

Just my opinion, but we've crossed the line in this series from fun to silly to downright stupid/dangerous.

/Now the Kings - Blues series is hard hitting exciting hockey with very little stupid/dangerous stuff.

Aside from Isles vs Pens for me the Kings vs Blues series has been the most fun to watch. These two teams are crushing each other every chance they get with clean solid hits. They even scored a few goals last night just to spice things up.

My favorite's actually been the Rags/Caps series. It's a win-win for me. Rags lose, Torts probably gets the axe. Caps lose, well they're a legitimate rival for the Penguins so you know... It's been a fun series and I don't get stressed out.

I need to catch more of the Habs/Sens. I'm leaning toward cheering for the Sens, but they seem to hate the Penguins more than Montreal does.

I hope Ottawa takes care of business.....no matter how they choose to do it, and someone like Neil really needs to kick the shit out of Subban for his actions also. I definitely want the Sens to win the next 2 games.

Prust picks up his headhunting right where he left off in game 3.

Ohh and why is Kassian in the lineup again?

Subban tried for the elbow there but failed.

I guess if there are no repurcussions these guys are smart to keep headhunting.
