I think the best part of this is the fact that its an hour long.

So.... I went to the game, with my brother, decked out in Habs gear. Not the best game for us lol. At least before the game, and through two periods, there was great energy. Third period was a gong show. Fights breaking out in the stands around us. Some pretty derogatory insults flying around.

By the end I looked down on the bench, and in total I think the Habs had two and a half lines, and maybe 2 d-pair left. Yikes!

I'll be honest, a fight or two can get my blood pumping, but the full-out line brawl is an ugly sight. Without replay I have no idea how that all started, but you'd think the refs could have done something to control it. Game was a mess after that. Too much risk of injury letting it get out of control like that.

If the Habs are smart, they'll avoid that. They scored their goal on a powerplay resulting from a stupid Chris Neil penalty. If they play smart they'll get more chances like that. But guys like PK are getting too hot-headed and costing their team. Seemed like he was in the box the whole time.

I've said it before but he's pretty much the Habs version of Brad Marchand. A complete douche on the ice. A talented player no doubt but an asshat nonetheless.

lol - I know Wings fans think O'Halloran is the devil incarnate, but Michel Therrien is the reason last night's game turned into an ECHL shitshow.

I guess I let my complete and utter disdain for that joke of a ref to cloud my judgement. You're absolutely right, Therrien is a tool for letting his players all lose control the way they did. They embarrassed themselves, they didn't need any help from the Sens.

I still can't believe he left Carey Price in there the whole game. What a maroon. I was fully expecting him to walk off the ice and tell Therrien he just played his last game as a Hab.

PK Subban, screaming at a teammate for a pass that got him decked, tells me a lot about him and that locker room. There are some unhappy players and Therrien does not have the people skills to get through that. He's just pushing the "we're the victim" card. Bitching about a time out?

McLean had some high end talent left and needed it calmed down before someone got hurt. Of course, even that backfired when Turris was shot at.

So if Gryba got dropped for two games because of a clean hit with a bad outcome, then by extrapolation the Habs should be playing the rest of the series without around five guys.

The funniest thing about last nights game is this. With all the clear intent to injure, and that is what that turned into with all the guys just going at each other, there will be no suspensions from the game.
