First of all big ups for the Pats winning. Great game to watch, although I thought the outcome was shitty due to a bone head accident but whatever. Game was great.

With that said, I'm sure we'll hear ESPN all fucking week talk Pats all day/ all the time just like last week even though Cam's performance should've been the topic of conversation not the blown call.

ESPN is a piece of junk, they should dedicate their energy to other sports and let NFL to better channels.

This comment has nothing to do with the commentators which are very good. Collinsworth is very funny and Michaels puts the foot down. The programming sucks however, where did ESPN get the idea that NFL fans care about soccer, rugby, and a bunch of other crap?

So they should talk about the irrelevant Raiders?

It was decidedly the worst ending to a good game.

I feel we were ripped off as fans.

No, "ripped off" is when the refs end it unjustly -- that's the worst ending. Players misplaying the ball is a part of the game.

You know it's a sports network, not a football one? :wtf:

Also rugby is better than any major US sport but football.

I agree. For such a great game to end so anticlimactically is disappointing. Better than a tie, though.

Are you talking about Cam's performance against the Pats defense that was without 5 of their starters on defense and then later in the game were without another two defensive backs. Maybe the talk should have been on how Brady moved the ball up and down the field on Carolina's great defense, I think that was more impressive.

It's amazing how Cam Newton destroyed the Patriots but the Dolphins shut him down.. :(

but this is a story here OP... Patriots were god awful the first half and were turn-over city and DOWN 24-0 to the Broncos and WON!!! How is this not a story?

and you don't like a team scoring what 28 unanswered points and winning a game they really shouldn't have won based upon their first half disaster? How can a fan be ripped off with what happened last night?

ok...lemme try to bring it back to context since the thread went sideways right away.

With the Pats winning the game of the week Sunday night, ESPN has found another reason to shove PATS news/content down our throats for 24hrs since nothing else happened in sports this weekend.

If you've been following Peyton's career, that game was pretty par for the course. The Jets knocked him out of the playoffs on special teams one year. The Steelers had the Bettis fumble game, Peyton drove the other way and then they missed a FG. Saints recovered an onside kick against Peyton in the Super Bowl. Bears had a kickoff return in the Super Bowl against him but Colts still won.

Maybe they should just change the name from ESPN to North Eastern Sports Network.
