I don't think you have to worry about Roman not being here. Harbaugh has checked out and he will take his staff with him.

I agree that the offensive line is horrendous; we saw that on the goal line at the end of the game but the offense has no flow and no continuity. That is on the coaches.

I think this coaching staff/team is just burned out....whatever is going on there is just no passion anymore like there was the first couple years, getting so damn close to the Lombardi and having it mercilessly ripped away has maybe taken its toll on the 49ers.

Everyone always blames the coaches. I see it sometimes but really not that much today. I saw an offense that had plenty of chances that didn't perform.

You are being a little harsh, aren't you? Sure, an argument can be made that he is over-rated, and he MAY be a problem on the team.

So why not just fire him? To want a man to get caned is barbaric. We aren't in Singapore, you know.

I resisted this line of thinking earlier in the season, but maybe you're right. Maybe we just need to bring in someone new with fresh ideas. It could be as simple as that the league just has too much of a book on our coaching staff now and we are having trouble making counter-adjustments.

There was a play earlier in the 2nd half, a roll out to the right, and a pass that gained about 12 yards. I only saw one of those today.

If they are so committed to making Kaep a pocket passer, why the hell didn't they just keep Alex Smith? Making Kaep a purely pocket passer takes away one of his strengths.
