The first thought that came to me when I saw that was "What a fuckin coward. He actually was compelled to hit a woman that had to be less than half his weight, size and strength. People like him should have to do hard time in a prison where they make them get out on the roads on a chain gang and have to do some manual labor for a minimum of one year. Totally irrelevant as far as what she did. abusers like that look for a reason and once they get away with it by apologizing, they are embolden to do it more. Then they start grooming the victim for more. They tell them that she made him hit her and it's her fault. Personally I like the way my grandmother handled when she got married something 100 years ago(my mother is now 89 so this is really a long time ago). She basically told him that if he ever hit her, NOT TO GO ASLEEP IN THE SAME HOUSE OR HE WOULD NEVER WAKE UP AGAIN.
