Nope. I’m stating you weren’t an ‘inferior’ team in general in the 90s.
But Texas whipped that ass in 96, stopped your home win streak in 98, had a blip loss in the 98 ccg, then went on to demoralize y’all in shockingly painful losses throughout the rest of your stint in the B12. some of those collapses were almost unbelievable

We would have been 11-1, but Florida would have been as well. Arizona St was 11-0 and Florida St was 11-0 up to that point. Given the recent success of the Huskers in that time, I think its fair to think we would have played for one, but no way to know for sure.

Impossible to say a team "dominated" when you won all of 3 conference championships since 1996, and Nebraska has 2 conference championships, and we haven't been a member of said conference for well over half the life of the actual conference.

Haha. Yeah. To revel in it and gloat would be dumb though. We’re really no more than an upper tier Group of 5 these days which isn’t saying much, good but certainly far from great. The next time we play them they very well might kick our ass. You just never know. And it’s a pretty small sample size. Three games and really they weren’t all that great in the 2017 match up (7-5 I think).

Beating Miami in the 93 Sugar Bowl was a big one. That said, we’ve had quite a few memorable ones.

Yeah, despite the run we have been on, this one has a special place in my heart. Miami was so cocky, the fans were so obnoxious, the only NC game that comes close for me was ND in 2012...so satisfying.

Have to go with the one over Miami to win the BCS National Championship. That Miami team over a couple years was unbelievable, if they had won that title for back to back, they were in the running for greatest team ever. They had more NFL talent on that roster I have ever seen. One of the biggest upsets that I can remember which makes it that much more sweet.
