Hopefully Andy Dalton can act like he gives a damn too.

I wanna see a LOT of Hawkins. Early and often. He's a match up nightmare and there's no excuse for him not to be targeted 10 times a game.

They seem to have lost their creativity in finding different ways to get the ball to Hawkins. I don't think they've made good enough use of him lately. The passing offense has fallen apart since Sanu was injured. He was making a huge difference in the red zone.

I called this way back in the first few weeks of the season. Watching him run around free getting wide open in space, it was only a matter of time before teams got him on film and started game planning for him. And that's exactly what has happened. Occasionally he'll put up decent yards, but very rarely now do you see him get wide open. It's not really a utilization thing as he's very limited in what he can offer given his small stature.

Sanu's emergence as well as that of the passing offense also coincided with that stretch of horrible defenses. Furthermore, I'd hardly talk about the impact in the redzone as the offense has struggled to even get there over the last 3 or so games against these better defenses.

I think it has less to do with Hawkins height then the game planning. Welker is only 2 inches taller and doesn't have a lot of problems. That is because NE knows how to use him, and we haven't used him very well yet.

Please ignore me. I don't want to have any discourse with you. Don't quote me, don't address me in any way, and I'll treat you the same way. Thank you.

Dalton isn't Brady. Nor is our offense near as high powered as theirs.
