If this game mattered, they wouldn't have been on the injury report, would've played, and we'd have gotten our asses handed to us. We'll have to play a hell of a game next week to even stay within 20 points of Houston.

The only person "whinning" is you.

I'm not whinning or bellyaching at all. The first quote is whinning and bellyaching. We aren't that bad. Jesus.

It's why I don't come much to this board. Too many people crying about making the playoffs. Shut the fuck up and enjoy it. Goodnight.

You should probably look up the definition of whining. Sure, he's negative like most of the sane people on this board, but there's no whining. It's actually more a reflection of reality - though I don't agree with playing our best to stay within 20.

All of you are whining. We have made the playoffs the last 2 years with one of the youngest teams in the NFL. I find that to be a great success. I don't expect us to make the AFCCC this year. Would I like to see a win over Houston? Absolutely, but I'm not naive enough to think this team should be a SB team so fast. It takes time. Look at Atlanta and how long it's taken them. Look how long it took NO after they got Brees, etc. It takes time. This is a very young and talented team. With what most of you all predicted this year, I don't see how this year hasn't been a success. Especially since we got the big game win and win over the Steelers monkey off our backs.

So, pretty much you agree our "negativity" is pretty damn close to reality. And if we speak of that reality, we're "whining".

I don't think you are realistic. You think it's realistic we have to play a hell of a game to stay within 20 of Houston??

The win against Baltimore was meaningless and meant nothing. We learned nothing. We fixed nothing. We are exactly who we were the week before. A great DLine and a horrid offense.

agree. regardless of what happens in houston the season is a success. They went 10-6 (should've been more like 12-4) against what looked like a brutal schedule. They won an elimination game in Pitt. The defense has established itself as elite. The offense figures to continue to progress. Of course I'd like to see them win in Houston, but big picture the team is young and on the correct trajegtory.

I'm happy they made the playoffs. They did finish strong (7-1) even though the offense fell apart in December. I give them about a one in three chance of winning at Houston. They are a young team, as Tubbs said, and they are up against it with teams like New England and Denver in the conference. They've now been in three of the last four years. You have to start somewhere. The next step obviously is to win a playoff game. The defensive line is good enough to give them a puncher's chance this week.

After thinking about it I'm gonna say we have a bout a 50% chance simply because Houston is about as bad as we are. We both stink on offense. They get the nod with Foster. Our defense is better, though.

The game will come down to turnovers IMO. Should be a good one.

Sounds to me like you're dumping on Houston just in case we knock them off.

Houston does a better job of getting the ball to Andre Johnson than we do of getting it to AJ. This is what we have to do to have a chance to win. AJ is either going to have to score twice or make 10+ catches for 150+ yards. We just don't run the ball anymore.

it will come down to the line of scrimmage. Oline in particular needs to play great.

JJ Watt was enough to kick our ass last year. They need to handle him a little better.

Hopefully Andy Dalton can act like he gives a damn too.

I wanna see a LOT of Hawkins. Early and often. He's a match up nightmare and there's no excuse for him not to be targeted 10 times a game.
