As expected. Top 5 recruiting class coming in and Tarczewski, Hollis-Jefferson, Ashley, McConnell, York and Pitts all returning. Lesssgo.

Where did you hear about Johnson? I know he most likely goes but I haven't seen anything confirming it.

I think U of A is having a press conference at 1 to say who's going and who's staying.

Blurb on Zagsblog says he's going. It's not exactly "official" but he's generally pretty reliable on stuff like this.

I'll never understand leaving after your Junior year to be a second round pick

In general I agree, and I don't think Johnson could go wrong by coming back, but...

this is a bit of a unique case because he accomplished so much this year and got a ton of unexpected national attention, that I get trying to "sell high" here.

Also, a first round spot is not out of the realm of possibility here, especially since he'll get to turn some heads at the combine and pre-draft workouts with his athleticism.

Yeah you both do bring up good points considering he can kinda ride the wave from this year and there probably isn't any way to up his stock much coming back next year.

Must be nice and easy for you guys to accept though considering the team that Zona will have without him anyways.

Dude you are way too big of an Arizona fan not to be a PGU Private Forum member. I knew literally 2 months ago (maybe more) that Nick was declaring for the draft. There is nothing like the Private Forum, and it's only 100 bucks a year. Seriously go buy that shit ASAP, any of you on here that don't already have it.

Coach Miller and Coach Calipari are both doing about the same things these days regarding recruiting. I'm good with it. Do AZ fans feel the two are using the same approach?

It is definitely easier to accept, and I am 100% behind Bunnies's decision to declare. He isn't going to grow 3 inches, and he has a better chance to improve his jumper in the professional ranks than he does if he has to actually go to class and shit.

He will be missed, though, one of my all time favorite wildcats

Not really. AG and Stanley Johnson are the only two one and dones (not counting Grant Jerrett, cuz he got bad advice and left). Miller recruits higher character guys IMO, and if they aren't team first he won't go after them. It's why AG and Rondae fit in so well right away.

From what ive heard the private forum is legit and accurate. ACE was bragging about how he let everyone know about this months ago. Sometimes he gets on my nerves though. He talks shit to his members and thinks he is a God and acts like we are his peasants. I'd rather not give him my money.

I do agree in the sense that Calipari and Miller are the two best recruiters in the game right now. Ill throw an honorable mention to Coach K and Self.

Haha you don't know ACE then, he's hilarious and likes to fuck with people, but he has been giving free shit away for years just for the sake that he loves Arizona basketball and wants PGU to be a community. Don't get me wrong if I were an outsider I would think he was a dick too, I mean shit he makes fun of me all the time, but I know it's just for fun. He is just as likely to give somebody who is struggling financially free access to the private forum as he is to brag about making Jeff Goodman look like a fool for making some baseless prediction about a recruit not coming to UA (like Craig Victor).

Trust me on this one, it's a whole different way of following this team, and Ace is legitimately the man.

Maybe I will consider it in the future then. Perhaps when he comes out with another special deal. He seems to have one of those pretty often.

there's one right now, and the offseason is a good time to have it since there's not much going on

@AZDBAZ- Yeah he came across as a douche to me too at first, but honestly he is a good guy. He gives out free shit all the time and provides the best AZ info out there. Definitely worth it.
