I would have wanted to see the Cavs healthy for this reason alone:

There's only one basketball and the regular season is much different than the postseason. James, Irving, and Love all would want the ball in the playoffs. It would have been much more interesting imo.

Yes. He was the most energetic player on the floor last night. I think a lot of what happened last night was dictated by the way Golden State played but also it seemed that the Cavs got away somewhat from what had been successful for them. They stopped letting James bring the ball up court, hold it until he could get a shot and let everyone else crash the boards. Instead, he started getting rid of the ball and allowing scrubs like Dellavedova, Shumpert and Smith shoot the ball. If they get back to what worked for them in the first 3 games they can make things very difficult for the Dubs. Its not over yet.

Blasphemy! JR Smith is great, he's shooting 29% from the field and 25% from 3, that's elite!

You just don't understand what better TEAM means.
A TEAM is much more then just your best players.

David Lee was actually the ELEVENTH player the Warriors used this series.

Why are the Cavs so afraid to go deeper down their bench?
Maybe the Warriors have a better training staff?
Maybe the coaches managed their minutes better?
Maybe they had a better vision for a championship roster top to bottom?
Maybe had the Cavs kept Wiggins and Co they'd have more youth and would have had more cash to bolster the bench?

James chose to have a very top heavy roster. Heat was the same way in James year 1.

It's unfortune for James and Cavs fans that they aren't healthier, but it was a conscious choice to bank on guys who don't stay healthy.

Who are you telling? Justin Cyder had our issues on FN because I was unable to detect sarcasm sometimes (hell even @LAD knows that from our time on the FN NBA T & R's).....but I've grown as a man and am now just as sarcastic as you!!!

Was going to send you a PM.....but I can't for some reason.

I know you did, Slinkster, I heard through the grapevine (a regular on the MLB threads) and I'd also show up there from time to time. You and Cyder were 2 people I misjudged.

And since I've been here I've pretty much let a lot of things go from the old website.....my mom fighting cancer has a lot to do with that. It's just not worth the hassle anymore, life's too short.

is GS home for game 5? Or does NBA for the finals still do 2-3-2? Which IMO has always favored the team who supposedly doesn't have home court advantage.

Finals is now 2-2-1-1-1. Either way doesn't bother me truthfully. Trivia fact.. Miami Heat are only team to win all 3 home games in the 2-3-2 format. They did it twice. 2006, 2012.

But enough about my team. Love this series so far. Wasn't huge fan of last nights game. It was to big a blow out. Would love to see a game 5 down to the wire and then eventually a game 7. Unfortunately, I think as this series wears on and more adjustments are being made..Steve Kerr has more options. The Cavs have iso LeBron ball and pray JR Smith plays well.
